1. Green Tea

You know what! Green tea has anti-microbial and antioxidant properties. Generally, people drink it to loose their weight but it can be use to treat pimples & boils too because of its anti-microbial properties. For this, you can use one cool cup of green tea as your face wash or you can use green tea bags on your affected parts of your skin. It will surely helps to heal them. Do it daily atleast for 2-3 weeks.

2.Lemon Juice

Lemon is rich in Vitamin C and has astringent properties that is really effective to treat acne & pimples. You can apply lemon juice directly on your affected parts of skin or take a cotton ball and add few drops of lemon juice on it, then apply it on your face. Leave it for upto an hour and then wash off your face. Repeat this process twice a day for best results.

3. Baking soda

Don’t worry 🙂 banking soda does not contain harmful chemicals. It’s natural, cheap and really effective home remedy to treat acne & pimples. It helps to alleviate the inflammation and exfoliates the skin. For this, take some warm water and add some baking soda to make a paste. Apply this paste to your skin like a mask. Leave it for upto an hour and then wash off your face.

4. Egg Whites

Egg whites are high in protein and helps to improve the quality and texture of the skin. It has protein compound ‘Albumin’ that act as a anti-viral and anti-fungal property to fight against several skin infections. For this, separate the egg white from the yolk. Take a cotton ball or use your fingers to apply egg whites to your skin. Leave it for upto an hour and then rinse your face.

5. Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil is one of the famous home remedy to treat acne & pimples. It’s famous for its anti-viral and anti-fungal properties that helps to fight against several skin ailments. Never apply tea tree oil directly on your face. It’s better to use it in diluted form.For this, you can add 2-3 drops of tea tree oil into your face wash/cream/lotion/rose water/aloe vera gel and apply it on your affected parts. Tea tree oil is strong so if you have sensitive skin then avoid this remedy.

6. Aloe Vera Gel

Aloe vera ‘The Wonder Plant’ has several skin & health benefits. It can become your one of the simplest home remedy to treat boils & pimples. Aloe vera has antioxidant and anti-fungal properties that helps to cure and prevent the acne & pimples. For best results, use it daily at night. It will give you glowing and healthy looking skin.

7. Garlic

Garlic has several health & skin benefits. The ‘Allicin’ compound of garlic has anti-viral, anti-septic and anti-bacterial properties which helps to kill the bacteria that cause acne & pimples. Sulfur compound of garlic helps to reduce the acne marks & scars. For this, you can massage your face with raw garlic cloves or if you have sensitive skin then crush 2-3 garlic cloves and mix it with 2 tablespoons of water and then rub the mixure over your boils & acne.

8. Papaya

You know what! papaya is rich in Vitamin C and it is used in many skin care products for acne treatment. Papaya contain papain and chymopapain that have anti viral properties.  You can use it directly as your home remedy. For this, mash up the flesh of papaya to form a paste or a lotion consistency and then apply it directly to the skin. Leave it up to for 3 mintues then wash off your face.

9. Ice Cubes 

Ice Cubes Helps to reduce the inflammation. If you have red and swollen spots, then you can use the ice cubes to reduce the appearance of blemishes. For this, rub an ice cube on your spot or affected area and the bacteria of that part will be pushed out. The cold compress helps to reduce the redness and swelling of pimples.

10. Honey

Honey contains enzymes that act as an anti-microbial and anti-viral agent which helps to rejuvenate the skin.It helps to kill the worms and bacteria that cause acne & pimples. For this, you can apply a very thing layer of raw honey as a mask on your face and leave it upto for few minutes and then rinse the face with cool water. It will help you to reduce the dirt and acne of the skin.
